Mason's Select Transparent Concrete Stain

Faux Finishing Techniques

Create faux finish and dynamic mosaic patterns. Geometric designs add depth, detail and interest to concrete.  With Mason's Select Concrete Stains you can achieve this effect by simply using masking tape to create designs, or use stencils and sponges.

Using Stencils:

If masking tape requires too much handwork you may want to consider the use of stencil designs. There are many types of stencils available that can be purchased at paint and decorating stores. Follow all stencil directions provided by the manufacturer. The best stencil type to use with this product are those with an adhesive backing.

Wet on dry sponging using a textured roller and Brick stencil design.  Brownstone and Terra Cotta were applied (over one base coat of Adobe) using a textured roller and a stencil. River Rock stencil using Patina Green, Fieldstone, and Quartz White sponged over one base coat of Slate.
