| Application Technique: |
- Prepare concrete surface according to
label directions. Following all label application
directions, spray base coat color on clean, bare concrete
surface, staining entire area.
- Allow concrete surface to dry for at least 4 hours before applying
misted accents.
- Using a small handheld spray mister or pump-up sprayer, lightly
spray the darker accent color over the base coat to achieve a granite
stone look. Practice spraying on a piece of cardboard or
newspaper to determine distance to spray from and adjust the sprayer
nozzle to achieve the mist grain size you desire.
- If using a third color, wait 4 hours after applying the second
color to avoid colors blending together.
- For added protection: After stain has dried for at least 4
hours apply Mason's Select Clear Concrete Sealer in Satin
for a matte finish or Gloss for a
"wet look" finish. Clear sealers will not yellow,
crack or peel and will provide added protection against UV rays, hot
tire pick-up and automotive fluids.
