Mason's Select Safe Solution is a waterborne solution of non-corrosive, low PH organic salts that have been specially formulated to clean and roughen or etch concrete surfaces. Mason's Select Safe Solution has been specifically formulated to replace extremely corrosive and hazardous concrete etching products such as Muriatic Acid (hydrochloric acid) and Phosphoric Acid. Mason's Select Safe Solution is non-corrosive to skin, low-fuming, low odor, biodegradable, and has zero V.O.C. (volatile organic compound). Prepares concrete for paints and stains: Mason's Select Safe Solution prepares concrete for paints and stains by roughening and cleaning the surface so that coatings can adhere to the concrete

Roughens Smooth and Slippery Concrete: Hard trowled concrete can be slippery and dangerous, especially when wet. Mason's Select Safe Solution roughens these surfaces. Excellent for entryways and sidewalks.
APPLICATION PHOTOS FOR ETCHING AND STAINING CONCRETE:

1-Apply Mason's Select Safe Solution to area. A mild foaming action indicates that product is working. Do not allow product to dry at any time during the etching and cleaning process
2-After etching, concrete is neutralized using Mason's Select Concrete Cleaner and Neutralizer. 
3-Once concrete has dried, Mason's Select Transparent Concrete Stain was applied using a pump up sprayer (color used is Terra Cotta).
