Superdeck® Wood Cleaner is designed to restore natural beauty to exterior wood such as decks, siding and outdoor furniture. Wood surfaces are constantly bombarded by pollutants that result in an old weathered appearance.
Wood Cleaner is a biodegradable and won't harm plants and other vegetation. The concentrated liquid formula will make up to 4 gallons of cleaning solution that will clean stains caused by dirt, mold or mildew. Used in its concentrated form, it can also remove failed, oxidized transparent and semi-transparent finishes. By cleaning wood and removing surface contaminants, it allows for better penetration of a subsequent wood coating. Wood Cleaner is non-flammable, fast-acting, and easy to use.
Note: When cleaning redwood or cedar, wood extractives (tannins) may be brought to the surface. These may be neutralized with Superdeck Wood Brightener after cleaning.

WHERE TO
USE:For use
on wood decks, fences, wood siding, log homes and other exterior wood surfaces.
PREPARATION:Protect any aluminum
surfaces (such as window frames) to prevent discoloration.Product will etch metal.If product makes contact with glass, rinse
thoroughly before it dries.Mist any
nearby vegetation with water before and after application.
APPLICATION:Shake well before
using.Spray surface to be cleaned with
water, then apply Wood Cleaner with a brush, roller or pump up sprayer.Use synthetic brushes or rollers only.Wood Cleaner is supplied as a
concentrate. Mix 1 gallon of Wood
Cleaner to 3 gallons of water for normal use.Wood Cleaner is a thickened formula and may be used undiluted for
difficult areas or vertical surfaces where extra clinging ability is desired.
FOR
SEVERE MILDEW:Mix 1 gallon of Wood Cleaner, 3 gallons of water and 1
gallon of chlorine bleach; add bleach last and use caution.
MAINTENANCE
CLEANING (SURFACE NOT TO BE RE-COATED): For
maintenance cleaning mix 1/2 gallon of Wood Cleaner to 3 1/2 gallons of water,
then follow instructions for application and rinsing.
PRECAUTIONS:Apply product at
temperatures above 50ºF. and below 90ºF.Do not apply in direct sunlight if possible.Keep Cleaner wet on surface by occasionally
misting with water.Cleaner is not
effective when dry.If product dries on
surface misting with water will reactivate its power.Allow Cleaner to stay on surface
approximately 15-30 minutes to soften and dissolve failed oxidized coatings.
RINSING:Test a small area
by scrubbing with a bristle brush to determine if the surface is ready for
rinsing. When ready, scrub the surface
with a firm bristle brush or long-handled push broom. Rinse thoroughly with
water using a garden hose or pressure washer.Do not exceed 1000 PSI when using a pressure washer. Rinse any residue from plants.
BRIGHTENING:Wood species such as
redwood, cedar and fir will tend to darken after being cleaned.use Superdeck Wood Brightener as the
final step to brighten the wood and neutralize the surface before coating.Follow all label directions.NOTE: Test the cleaning and brightening
process on a small area first.
