Superdeck® Wood Brightener is formulated to brighten grayed, weathered wood. Superdeck Wood Brightener will lift and remove tannin, rust, nail stains and mill glaze from exterior wood and decking. It will bring the natural glow back to your wood, right before your eyes, allowing your coating to look as brilliant as possible.
Wood Brightener is a biodegradable brightener and rejeuventator that is safe and effective for use on exterior wood surfaces such as decks, fences, outdoor furniture, siding, log homes and hardwoods. Wood Brightener is concentrated: 1 gallon diluted will make 4 gallons of brightening solution. Wood Brightener is non-flammable, fast-acting, easy to use.
For maximum results, use Wood Brightener as the final step to neutralize and brighten wood surfaces that have been treated or cleaned with Superdeck Brand Wood Cleaner or Wood Stripper.

Wood after using Superdeck Wood Cleaner and Wood Brightener
PREPARATION:Protect any aluminum
surfaces (such as window frames) to prevent discoloration. Product will etch metal.If product makes contact with glass, rinse
thoroughly before it dries. Mist any
nearby vegetation with water before and after application.
APPLICATION:Shake well before using. Spray surface to be brightened with water,
then apply Wood Brightener with a brush, roller or pump up sprayer. Use synthetic brushes or rollers only. Wood Brightener is supplied as a concentrate. Mix 1 gallon of Wood Brightener to 3 gallons
of water for normal use. Wood Brightener
is a thickened formula and may be used undiluted for difficult areas or
vertical surfaces where extra clinging ability is desired. Apply product at temperatures above 50ºF. and
below 90ºF. Do not apply in direct
sunlight if possible.Keep Brightener
wet on surface by occasionally misting with water.Brightener is not effective when dry.If product dries on surface misting with
water will reactivate its power. Allow
Brightener to stay on surface approximately 15-30 minutes to restore wood to
its original color. Difficult areas may
take longer.Test a small area first.
RINSING:Test a small area by scrubbing with a bristle
brush to determine if the surface is ready for rinsing. When ready, scrub the surface with a firm
bristle brush or long-handled push broom. Rinse thoroughly with water using a garden
hose or pressure washer. Do not exceed
1000 PSI when using a pressure washer. Rinse
any residue from plants.
MAINTENANCE
CLEANING AND MILL GLAZE REMOVAL:Wood Brightener will clean, rejuvenate and brighten wood
(such as redwood and cedar) without removing existing finishes. Also removes mill glaze from new wood and
prepares surface for stain. Follow
application and rinsing instructions above.
Coverage:100-200 sq. ft. per
gallon.
