| Blending Finishes for Concrete |
| Create a Marble Look | |

Blending is achieved by spraying wet stain on wet stain. This technique creates a marble look that unifies and alters the color of stained or damaged concrete, giving it new life and a finished look. With blended colors, ordinary concrete becomes extraordinary. Just choose two or three shades for great results!
- Prepare concrete surface according to label directions. Following all label application directions, spray base coat color on clean, bare concrete surface.
- Stain only manageable-sized areas (e.g., split area into quadrants) to allow time and provide uncoated areas to walk on while applying second coat while base coat is wet.
- While base coat stain is still wet, apply second color or use Coal Black and/or Quartz White for blended accents. Using a pump-up or airless sprayer, quickly spray second color over the base coat, using a circular motion to create a cloud-like blended effect. Spray lightly to avoid puddling of color.
- If using a third color, apply while first and second color coats are still wet.
- For added protection, wait for stain to dry for at least 4 hours, then apply Mason's Select Clear Concrete Sealer in Satin for a matte finish or Gloss for a "wet look" finish. Clear sealers will not yellow, crack or peel and will provide added protection against UV rays, hot tire pick-up and automotive fluids
